PARTNERSHIP WITH GAWAD KALINGA IN NATION-BUILDING

AXA Philippines has partnered with GK and is determined to fulfill 3 objectives:

	To play an active role in nation-building by demonstrating our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
	To nurture the value of Team Spirit and;
	To be openly esteemed about our company and its brand.

The Company supports the project through peso for peso matching of funds raised by the AXA GK Project Team and organized build days twice a month for volunteers, friends and family members. Organized building also allows the community to be productive through sweat equity as GK continues its Values Formation program. The community will continue to build through their contribution of sweat equity until all 112 houses have been completed. 40 of 112 homes will be sponsored by AXA.

The partnership has been a successful CSR activity and provides the company with a venue for increased Employee Engagement. The main drivers of this project have been the commitment of volunteers and generous contributions from staff and executives.
