This protects you from any unexpected costs which may not be reimbursable or covered. You can take advantage of cashless transactions for eligible inpatient and outpatient treatment within our network of health care providers. If you would like to avail of cashless transactions, you should obtain pre-approval of requested treatment at least five (5) business days prior to inpatient treatment, and ten (10) business days prior to outpatient treatment and health screening. Letter of guarantee will be issued to you and to the health care provider.
For cashless transactions, we encourage you to avail of health care services through our provider network. If you decide to get treatment in a hospital which is not listed in our accredited provider network, you are encouraged to seek for pre-approval of requested treatment at least five (5) business days prior to inpatient treatment, and ten (10) business days prior outpatient treatment and health screening. You would have to pay the cost for your treatment and file a claim to reimburse the eligible charges. You can file your claim at any AXA branch near you. You can download a claim form available from our website and submit it together with the original claim documents and all medical reports, if any.
