Rescue Line in Emma by AXA PH app has your back

Emergencies are terrifying, whether they involve standing by the road, assessing the damage caused by a car accident, or trying to put out a fire that started in the kitchen. While some of us know how to administer first-aid, it’s easy to be consumed by panic during highly stressful and unexpected events. Knowing whom to turn to for help is the next best thing.

Get emergency assistance when you need it
In case of an emergency, Rescue Line has your back. This feature is available exclusively through Emma by AXA PH, the premiere mobile app of AXA Philippines. With Rescue Line, you can easily call for roadside, fire, police, and ambulance assistance in the event of an emergency. It even has a geolocation tagging feature that enables you to pin your exact location on the map, so that designated first responders will be able to find you easily. To access, simply tap the Rescue Line feature with its red alert icon located at the top of the app’s home screen. The best thing about this is you don’t need to have an AXA policy to use the Rescue Line feature: just download the Emma by AXA PH app and register using a valid email.

When you’re dealing with a crisis, it also important to inform your loved ones of your situation. The good news is, Emma by AXA PH has built-in a feature for that, too. Upon registration to the app, you just need to provide the details of your emergency contacts. Emma by AXA PH will automatically send them an SMS notification the moment you access any of the Rescue Line services.

Conveniently file for car insurance and hospitalization claims
Not all emergencies are life-threatening, but they can be quite inconvenient. In the case of a minor car accident, the logistics of making a car insurance claim can sometimes be more troublesome than the actual incident. To spare AXA car insurance policyholders the headache, AXA now accepts claims made through the app as well. Simply upload clear photos of the damaged parts of the vehicle as well as the required claims documents to the Motor Insurance Claim feature found in the Services tab of Emma by AXA PH. A police report is not mandatory. An update on the status of the claim will be sent out via SMS and email within 48 working hours.

AXA health insurance policyholders or customers with health riders attached to their policy may also conveniently file for hospitalization claims in the app.

If you need to consult a medical professional, Emma by AXA PH also provides free medical teleconsultation via MyPocketDoctor to those who have an AXA health policy or health riders attached to their policy.
