COVID-19 Cleaning & Sanitizing Service

Campaign Mechanics

1. Campaign period is from August 16, 2021 to November 16, 2021.

2. Applicable to all existing  and new business of Home Security and Condo Security within the campaign period.

3. This value-added service is valid for the following policies within the corresponding coverage period:

  • For new policies purchased during the campaign period:  Policy period
  • For existing policies purchased before Aug. 16, 2021: August 16, 2021 to August 16, 2022. This service shall automatically expire along with the existing policy if not renewed.

4. The benefit is payable if any family member up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity, living at the insured address (location of risk as specified in the policy schedule) tested positive for COVID-19.  No benefit will be payable if the COVID-19 case is diagnosed before and/or after the coverage period.

5. The COVID-19 case must be diagnosed/confirmed via RT-PCR test done by a professional during the coverage period.

6. The client can be paid up to the maximum amount of P5,000.00.

7. The cleaning and/or sanitizing service must be carried out by a professional cleaning company at the insured address within 30 days from the date that the family member is confirmed to be infected with COVID-19. The professional cleaning company must be a duly registered business in the Philippines which can issue an official receipt.

8. The claim must be submitted to AXA Philippines within 30 days after the confirmation of COVID-19 infection by providing the following documents:

  • Two government issued IDs of the infected family member
  • RT-PCR positive test result of the infected family member
  • Official Receipt from the professional cleaning company specifying the insured address and scope of service

9. The benefit can only be claimed once for the same insured address, regardless of the number of COVID-19 cases and the number of eligible policies underwritten by AXA Philippines. The benefit will also not be replenished in case of policy replacement or reinstatement.

10. The eligible policy must be in force and fully paid prior to claim or the credit term, if applicable. Non-payment of premium will automatically forfeit this service.

11. Only advanced policy renewal of up to 90 days is allowed.

12. No cancellation of insurance policy unless with written notification to AXA Philippines.

13. AXA Philippines shall not be held liable for any loss or damage that may occur to customer’s property during and/or after the cleaning and/or sanitizing service. Customer shall assume all risk and responsibility associated with the service.

14. AXA Philippines makes no representations or warranties to any of the service providers hired by its customers.

15. Due to the nature of the mechanics of this benefit, Personal and Sensitive Personal Information may be collected from qualified customers to determine qualification to the benefit. All Personal Data collected will solely be used for this purpose and will not be shared to any parties outside of AXA except when necessary to deliver the services related to this campaign. 16. AXA Philippines reserves the right to alter or terminate the promotion (in whole or in part) and/or amend the relevant terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
