FAQs on the price adjustment of the property insurance premium rates

With the deferment notice, will my property insurance policy automatically renew using the same premium rate as 2022?

Although the new Natural Catastrophe (CAT) rates mandated by the Insurance Commission will not be applied yet, there may still be a price adjustment on your renewal premium based on your annual policy review.

How will I know my updated renewal premium?

Please expect a call from your financial partner for your updated premium rates. If you do not have an agent, you may opt to do any of the following:

  • Call our Customer Care Hotline at (02) 85815-AXA, (0917) 170-9292 for Globe/TM, or (0998) 588-9292 for Smart/Sun/Talk and Text from 8:00AM to 7:00PM, Monday - Friday (except holidays), and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday (except holidays).

When will the new CAT rates be applied?

The Insurance Commission has not yet given a specific date for re-implementation. For now, the application of the new CAT rates is deferred until further notice.
