1.       Who is MyPocketDoctor?

2.       Is there a special offer on MyPocketDoctor services?
Yes, both policyholders and insured customers under Health Start, Health Max, Health Max rider, Critical Condition rider, Care rider or Global Health Access get to enjoy teleconsultation service by MyPocketDoctor with no additional cost simply by providing their policy number during the call.

Don’t have any of these policies? You can still enjoy using the teleconsultation service, a consult costs P450.

3.       Will the doctor provide me with prescription if needed?
If necessary, the doctor will send you a prescription to your e-mail.

4.       Can I arrange for medicine delivery?
After your consultation with the doctor, a nurse will call you to ask if you need further assistance. You can arrange pick-up of medicines on select pharmacies or arrange for medicine delivery for a fee.

5.       Are there any restrictions?
Yes, the following restrictions apply:

  • Animal bite/scratch
  • COVID-19 rapid test / RT-PCR test recommendation
  • Accident/Trauma case (vehicular accident, fall, etc.)
  • Psychiatric consultations
  • Emergency cases (i.e. Pedia patient accidentally swallowed something, etc.)
  • Cases needing physical consultation
  • S2 prescription requests (Regulated drugs) & Psychiatric medications prescription refill
  • Annual Physical Exams
  • Medical clearance issuance including fit to work, COVID-19 Clearance, and other kinds of clearances (admission to a hotel, condo, or apartment, etc.)
  • Restrictions in Issuance of Medical Certificate:
    ○        Alleged symptoms that happened prior to consultation (earlier today, last night, yesterday, etc.)
    ○        Existing alleged symptoms (presumed malingering)
    ○        Extension of rest days
