You can now pay your AXA general insurance premium through PayMaya

You can now pay your premiums for Car Insurance Online, Home Security, Smart Traveller, and other AXA general insurance policies through PayMaya. Here’s how:

1.       Open your PayMaya app
2.       Select AXA* from the list of billing partners
3.       Input your policy number (e.g. FI-PHS-SP-20-1234-0) and your amount due then click ‘Pay’

*Kindly select the AXA logo with biller name Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation

PayMaya is an app that allows you to pay your utility bills as well as government contributions conveniently.

2.     How do I pay my insurance premium through PayMaya?

a.       Open the PayMaya app and log in to your account

You can ‘add money’ to your PayMaya account via bank transfers or via debit/credit cards, Robinsons Department Store Business Centers, The SM Store Business Services, Smart Padala branches nationwide and select 7-Eleven branches. 6.     Can I pay the bill of my family or friend using the PayMaya app?
Yes, as long as you provide their correct policy/account number.

7.     Can I use the PayMaya app to pay my bills anywhere?
Yes, as long as the merchant is available in the list of PayMaya billers.

8.     Do I need to be upgraded to use Pay Bills?
No, you just need to download the PayMaya app, register and add money to your account to pay your bills.

9.     Are there any fees?
No additional fees apply for general insurance premium payments to AXA Philippines.

11.  Can I pay my bills in advance?
No, client cannot pay bills in advance.

12.  Can I make partial payments?
Yes, as long as the policy number is existing and valid.

13.  Will the app show the amount due?
No, please refer to your current billing statement to know your premium due.

14.  How do I make sure my bill was paid?
You will receive an in-app notification and SMS confirmation from PayMaya that your bill has been paid with reference ID as your transaction receipt. You will receive an Official Receipt from AXA Philippines (Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation) within 3 to 5 business days from posting of payment.

15.  What happens if my bills payment fails?
In case AXA Philippines (Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation) is unable to receive payment due to system issues, the amount you paid will be refunded to your account.

16.  Can I pay my bills after their due date?
You can pay your premium even after the due date.  However, we encourage paying your general insurance premium on time to ensure continued coverage. 

17.  Can I pay more than the amount due?
Please pay the exact amount of your premium as stated in your billing statement.

18.  If I pay my bills today, when will my payment be credited?
Posting of transactions for AXA Philippines (Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation) will be within 1 to 2 business days.

19.  What do I do if I settled the wrong account? Is there a charge to have this reversed?
You can reverse the payment you made. There will be no charge for reversal of wrong account paid.

20.  What is the maximum amount allowed for bills pay?
Maximum amount for non-upgraded PayMaya accounts is Php 50,000 and Php 100,000 for upgraded accounts. For premium payments beyond this amount, please pay over-the-counter at any Metrobank, PSBank, Chinabank and Unionbank* branch.

21.  Is it considered late payment if I paid on the exact due date given that it takes a while for the payment to be posted?
No, as long as you pay within your credit term.

22.  Will I get an official receipt when I pay my bills through PayMaya?
No, but PayMaya will provide a reference number to show/track your payment. You will receive an official receipt from AXA Philippines through your registered email within 3 to 5 business days from posting of payment.

23.  Why is the Pay Bills option empty in my app?
You would need the latest version of the app for you to use Bills Pay. Please go to the Google Play or App Store and press “Update” on the mobile app.
