Q: What is an e-Policy?

A: An e-Policy is an electronic copy of your printed policy. It is a valid and legal document that has been approved by the Insurance Commission. You can save it in your personal storage, print it, and even e-mail it to your beneficiaries.

 

Q: Why did I receive a link? Why not an actual e-mail? How can new clients get access to Emma by AXA web and app?

A: All AXA policyholders will have a Emma by AXA account. Emma by AXA is an app and an online web portal where all important information regarding your policy may be found on both platforms. You can access Emma by AXA Web at www.axa.com.ph/emma/login or download it from Google Play or Apple Store. You may also view the step-by-step guide on the instructional email sent to you.

 

Q: My e-Policy includes details about my policy contract, but does it also include my payment details?

A: Yes, your e-Policy contains details about your policy contract.  But your payment details are reflected within Emma by AXA along with your e-Receipts.

 

Q: Where can I get a copy of my e-Policy?

A: The full version of your e-Policy is available via Emma by AXA web portal and the e-Policy Lite version via Emma by AXA app.

 

Q: When will my Global Health Access e-Policy be available?

A: The e-Policy for GHA is not yet available as of now but we are working on it and we will update you once it is ready.

 

Q: Can I share a copy of my e-Policy to my beneficiaries?

A: Yes you may once you download it via the Emma by AXA web, an online web portal where all important information regarding your policy can be found. To access it, you can view the step-by-step guide on the instructional e-mail sent to you.

 

Q: What products have an available e-Policy?

A: All products except GHA, MyAmbition, and the eXentials line will have e-Policy.

 

Q: When did the e-Policy take effect?

A: e-Policy will be available for all policies except GHA, MyAmbition, and the eXentials line issued July 23, 2018 onwards.

 

Q: When will my e-Policy be available?

A: The e-Policy will be available through Emma by AXA within 1-2 business days from issuance date.

 

Q: Where can I download a copy of my e-Policy?

A: Currently, e-Policy is available only through Emma by AXA web and e-Policy Lite through Emma by AXA app. The policyholder will receive a welcome e-mail with a link to Emma by AXA. Depending on your browser settings, it may or may not automatically download. Always be careful when using a public PC as the information within your e-Policy is confidential.

 

Q: Do I still get a hard copy of the policy contract?

A: Yes, you may get a hard copy of the policy contract upon request. 

 

Q: Why is e-Policy better than the hard copy of my policy contract?

A: e-Policy is generated and available through Emma by AXA within 1-2 business days after policy issuance, while it takes around 10-15 business days before the policyowner receives a printed copy of the policy contract through courier upon request.

 

Q: Is my e-Policy considered valid?

A: Yes. e-Policy is considered legal and valid, and has been approved by the Insurance Commission. The policyowner can save it in his personal storage or print it in hardcopy.

 

Q: Can you email me my e-Policy?

A: Unfortunately, e-Policy is not available through email. It is only available for viewing and downloading via Emma by AXA web and app.

 

Q: How will I find my e-Policy in Emma by AXA app?

A: You can see the ‘e-Policy Lite’ link under the policy details or Documents tab.

 

Q: Can I request for an e-Policy of my old policy contracts?

A: Currently, e-Policy is only available for policies issued from July 23, 2018 onwards for all products except GHA, MyAmbition, and the eXentials line However, we are working on having the e-Policy for policies issued prior July 23, 2018 soon.

 

Q: What does fully paperless effective September 17, mean?

A: Policies issued on Sept 17, and beyond, regardless of when it was submitted will have an e-Policy as default. 

 

Q:  Are we the first to go fully paperless in the insurance industry?

A: With AXASol and Emma by AXA, we are the first in the Philippines and amongst all AXA entities to launch an end-to-end paperless journey for customers, from e-FNA, e-Application, proposal and e-Policy.
